PURPOSE: A business method for a digital publication through the internet is provided to achieve the on-line selling of a digital publication on a web through the internet and to collect, manage and subscribe to the sold digital publication on the web. CONSTITUTION: A method for a digital publication through the internet, digital books are sold to a registered client using the internet (110). A registered client is connected to a server system (108) through the internet (110) and requests purchase of digital books. The sold digital books are stored, collected and managed in an user's library space allotted to the registered client on a web site. When the registered client wish to subscribe to purchased books, the requested digital book data is serviced in online or download manner using the internet (110). Thus, the purchase cost of books can be reduced, and the convenience of use such as the storage, management and subscription search of the books can be greatly enhanced. In addition, whenever new books are registered, the related, registered clients who may prefer new books are selected from the registered clients and are provided with point marketing for advertising the new books. Therefore, the online sale of the digital books using the internet can be further promoted.
