GENERATING METHOD OF CAVITY SHAPE IN MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate the mold shape for molding a three-dimensional matter, in which anisotropically shrinkable positions and isotropically shrinkable portions are mixed. SOLUTION: This method is to generate the cavity shape of a mold by correcting a product shape (a) based on the three-dimensional shape data produced by means of a CAD on the basis of the shrinkage factors of a molding. This method comprises the steps of determining an anisotropic shrinkage factor (b) to be applied to the product shape (a); judging the absence and presence of portions, the application of the shrinkage factor (b) to which is unsuitable, in the product shape (a); specifying and selecting a place (c) as for the unsuitable portion; determining an isotropical shrinkage factor (d) to be applied to the place (c); taking the place (c) out of the product shape (a) as another part shape; correcting the product shape (a) on the basis of the anistropic shrinkage factor (b); correcting the place (c) taken out as the other shape on the basis of an isotropic shrinkage factor (d); and constructing a final shape by rearranging the corrected place (c) as the other shape with the corrected product shape (a).
