PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a recording capacity by preparing a light source, an optical waveguide one end of which faces a recording medium and an optic/electric transducer element receiving light emitted from the light source and totally reflecting light emitted from the light source with one end of the optical waveguide facing the recording medium in the optical waveguide to guide it to the optic/electric transducer element. SOLUTION: In an optical waveguide element 7, waveguide light combined to an optical waveguide 2 emitted from a light source 1 is totally reflected with one end of the optical waveguide 2 facing a recording medium 3 and guided to an optic/electric transducer elements 4, 4'. Whereby, near field light is generated in the end surface of the optical waveguide 2. Integrating is allowed by forming the optical waveguide 2, the optic/electric transducer elements 4, 4', a yoke 5 and a coil 6 on the same element. The optical waveguide element 7 is laminated so that both ends of the yoke 5 are mutually superposed with the optical waveguide 2 held in one end of the optical waveguide 2 facing the recording medium 3, total reflection is executed with the end surface of the part holding the yoke 5, and whereby near field light is generated between both ends of the yoke 5. |
