PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box capable of decreasing the number of part items because of a simple structure of a rid body thereof, easily being assembled, and keeping the rid body in an intermediate state between a close state and a complete open state. SOLUTION: A rid body 14 is attached in such a way to rotate to open and close to an opening 12 of a box body 11 through a hinge mechanism 15 composed of a fixed hinge plate 19 and a movable hinge plate 20. A rod 25 is rotatably attached to the fixed hinge plate 19. On the rid body 14, a sliding damper 27 for adding a sliding resistance on the rod 25 is attached. When the rid body 14 is rotated to open and close, the rod 25 is slid along a sliding groove 28 of the sliding damper 27 in a resistance adding state to add the resistance to open/close rotation of the rid body 14. |
