PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of sheets which can be accommodated, with the effective utilization of a space in an image forming device without increasing the overall height of the device. SOLUTION: When a paper end sensor 45 for detecting no sheet in a first sheet accommodating part 20 detects no paper but a sheet detecting sensor 70 detects a presence of sheets, sheets in a second sheet accommodating part 30 provided adjacent to the first sheet accommodating part 30 on the side opposed to the sheet feed-out side, is made only at their rear end into contact with and is pressed by a pressing plate 65 in a sheet transfer means 40 so that the sheets are pushed toward the first sheet accommodating part 20. Thus, the sheets can be shifted into the first sheet accommodating part 20 only by a pressing force of the pressing plate 65. |
