PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a reverse U-shaped light source image and convert into irradiation from a point light source by interposing a correcting filter in which a convex lens or a concave lens comprising a plurality of reverse U-shaped protrusions or recesses is formed on the glass surface between the irradiation surface of ultraviolet rays and an ultra-high pressure mercury lamp, and scattering the light source image on the irradiating surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of circular dome-shaped recesses 3 formed along a horseshoe shaped, reverse U-shaped part 5a having the same curvature as that of an ultra-high pressure mercury lamp on the surface of a glass disc 2a such as a quartz disc of a correcting filter 1a function like a micro-concave lens. A correcting filter 1b functioning as a micro-convex by forming a protrusion 4 is also used, and it is fixed to the inside of a lens holder. The ultra-high pressure mercury lamp and a pattern surface of a to-be-printed body or a to-be- exposed body are faced so that reverse U-shaped parts 5a, 5b are overlapped on the reverse U-shaped part of a tube body to overlap on the pattern surface like ultraviolet rays from many point light sources, and coming out of a light source image is avoided.
