<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor having withstanding voltage characteristic in which solder reflow can be carried out by selecting a material having heat resistance of specified temperature or above for the electrode, electrolyte, separator and gasket and ensuring an appropriate capacity design ratio and density of electrode. SOLUTION: A material having heat resistance of 200 deg.C or above is selected for the electrode, electrolyte 7, separator 6 and gasket 5 and the capacitor is designed to withstand against reflow temperature of 250 deg.C or above. Furthermore, an appropriate capacity design ratio and electrode density are ensured thus reducing deterioration of inner resistance extremely when the capacitor is reserved at 70 deg.C while applying 3.0 V. Polarizing electrodes 3, 4 are formed by mixing active carbon, carbon black as a conductive material, and polytetrafluoroethylene as a binder, at a specified ratio and the polarizing electrodes 4, 5 are further bonded to a positive pole can 1 and a negative pole can 2 through a conductive adhesive 1. Electrode capacitance of positive pole is 1.5 times that of the negative pole or more.</p> |
