PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a shape smoothness of longitudinal edge parts of longitudinal lines and also limit a breadth difference between longitudinal and lateral lines to a minimum in a powder developer jet type image-forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In forming one dot on a recording medium, if a succeeding dot in a direction of a longitudinal line to the one dot is present, a duty ratio of pulses impressed for forming the one dot is made large. If a succeeding dot in the direction of the longitudinal line to the dot is not present, the duty ratio of pulses impressed for forming the one dot is made small. Impress pulses are controlled in this manner. |
