PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent infiltration of ground water into a basement, and further to shorten a construction period for constructing the basement. SOLUTION: There is provided a reinforced concrete lower structure 1 including a foundation floor 11 and peripheral walls 12 each having an upper edge surface. Further, a reinforced concrete upper structure 2 including a ceiling 20 and peripheral walls 21 each having a lower edge surface is laid over the lower structure 1 such that the lower edge surface of the upper structure and the upper edge surface of the lower structure rest on each other, to thereby form a structure main body 10. In this case, a sealing member is arranged between the upper edge surface and the lower edge surface of the respective structures 1, 2.
