PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect and disconnect a male-type connector member to/from a female-type connector member, and to surely fix both the connector members in a temperature detector for a high temperature device, such as a die containing a connector for a temperature measuring element. SOLUTION: This connector for a temperature sensing element is provided with a female-type connector member 60 assembled to a temperature sensing element 10, and a male-type connect member 30 assembled to an extension cable 20. Plural through-holes 41 are provided along the circumferential direction in an outer case 31 of the male member 30, lock balls 42 are stored in the through-holes 41, and an annular spring 43 for energizing the balls 42 toward a center is assembled. A lock groove 61a, in which the balls 42 fit in the circumferential direction, is provided in the outer circumferential face of an outer cylinder 61 of the female member 60.
