PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance space efficiency by providing a pan body having a plurality of ice making recesses, a cover being fixed thereto, and a grasping holder having a pair of handle parts and a bottom part thereby facilitating the operating for inserting/drawing an ice making pan into/from a freezing chamber and making possible to contain it three-dimensionally in the freezing chamber. SOLUTION: An ice making pan comprises a opaque pan body 2 made of synthetic resin, a transparent cover 3 being fixed thereto, and a grasping holder 4 formed of a pair of handle parts 4a and a bottom part 4b coupling them into U-shape. The pan body 2 is provided with ice making recesses 1 for making a row of about 6-8 ices and has an elongated pan shape where the longitudinal length is longer by a factor of 3 or more than the lateral length. The ice making recesses 1 are filled with water and applied with the cover 3 to constitute a set of ice making pan 6 and several sets, e.g. three sets, of ice making pans 6 are placed in the freezing chamber while being stacked between the handle parts 4a of the grasping holder 4 thus making ice.
