PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and firmly fix a cam receiving plate to a top face of a tappet main body without using the joining means such as welding. SOLUTION: A through hole 8 facing up and down is made in the center of a top wall 7a of a tappet main body 7, while an installation shaft 10, whose outside diameter allows it to be inserted into the through hole 8 leaving no play and whose outside surface is threaded to male screws 11, is projected from the center of the lower surface of the cam receiving plate 9. The installation shaft 10 is fitted into the through hole 8, while a nut 12 is threadedly engaged with the end part (of the shaft 10) projected from the through hole 8, fixing the cam receiving plate 9 to the top face of the tappet main body 7.
