<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor whose mounting area can be reduced by reducing the quantity of fillet needed for mounting through soldering. SOLUTION: This resistor is provided with a board 31, first upper surface electrode layers 32 which are formed from side parts of the upper surface of the board 31 to the parts of a side surface, a resistance layer 33 which is formed so as to be connected with the first upper surface electrode layers 32, second upper surface electrode layers 35 formed on the upper surfaces of the first upper surface electrode layers 32, third upper surface electrode layers 36 formed on the upper surfaces of the second upper surface electrode layers 35, and a protective layer 34 formed on the upper surface of the resistance layer 33. The first upper surface electrode layer 32 is arranged from the side part of the upper surface of the board 31 to only a part of the side surface, so that a resistor capable of reducing fillet needed for mounting can be obtained.</p> |
