PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good defrosting performance in an air conditioning system for a vehicle equipped with a function that provides at least independent control of temperature at the front and rear. SOLUTION: An air passageway for the front seats and an air passageway for the rear seats 16 are provided in parallel with each other. The air passageway for the front seats is provided with a first defroster opening portion and a first defroster door that opens and closes the first defroster opening portion. The air passageway for the rear seats 16 is provided with a second defroster opening portion 24c and a second defroster door 25c, with which air heated by a heat exchanger for heating 13 is blown against a vehicle window glass. In a defroster mode, the first defroster opening portion is opened by the first defroster door and, at the same time, the second defroster opening portion 24c is opened by the second defroster door 25c.
