PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pattern material of a man-made marble continuously from a thin sheet by sandwiching a heat-curable synthetic resin compound with a film, then regulating the thickness of the synthetic resin compound through the film to be dried and cured and separating the upper and the lower film from the thin sheet. SOLUTION: A heat-curable synthetic resin compound 1 is supplied by a means 2 for supplying the heat-curable synthetic resin compound and a film F is supplied by a film supply means 3 consisting of an upper film supply roll 12 and a lower film supply roll 13. Further, the heat-curable synthetic resin compound 1 is regulated by the gate 9 of a thickness regulating means 4 under such a state that the synthetic resin compound 1 is sandwiched between the upper and the lower film F to obtain a thin sheet 6. This thin sheet 6 is sent to the drying furnace 10 of a drying and curing means 5 to be dried and cured. Next, the upper and the lower film F are separated from each other using a pair of an upper and a lower drive roll 17 of a separation means 7 to continuously produce the thin sheet 6. The upper and the lower film F are taken up by an upper take-up roll 18 and a lower take-up roll 19.
