PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply oil stably to both pumps in a double pump. SOLUTION: Gear mechanisms 1, 2 are prepared by meshing teeth of a pair of gears with each other. The gear mechanisms 1, 2 are respectively housed in front and rear pump chambers independently provided. Drive shafts for journalling drive gears of the gear mechanisms are connected to each other. A suction port IN2 of the rear pump 2 communicates with a suction port IN1 of the front main pump 1. When the oil passing through the suction port IN1 of the front main pump 1 is supplied to the suction port IN2 of the rear pump 2, the oil amount to be supplied is limited by a flow rate control passage 31.
