PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin material having excellent moisture-retainability, resistant to soiling, enabling easy removal of attached soil, having excellent mechanical strengths, resistant to breakage, having excellent durability and exhibiting excellent shape stability by polymerizing a specific compound. SOLUTION: The objective resin material is produced by polymerizing (A) a compound of the formula: CH2=CH-NX-Y X is COR1 or R1 (R1 is H, an alkyl or the like); Y is a group of formula I [A is a 1-20C alkylene or the like; B is (CH2)m ((m) is 1-3), CH2C(CH3)H or the like; R2 to R4 are each an alkyl, a hydroxyalkyl or the like] or a group of formula II [C is a 1-8C alkylene; D is CH2C(CH3)H or the like; R5 and R6 are each an alkyl, a hydroxyalkyl or the like; R7 is an alkyl, a halogenated alkyl or the like]} and preferably further (B) a copolymerizable compound. The polymerization ratio of A:B is preferably 5-95:95-5.
