PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the assemblage of a coreless motor easier and to reduce the frictional forces when the rotation of the motor is started and stopped, by constituting the motor only of a rotor composed of radially magnetized multipole ring magnets and a stator composed only of a coil. SOLUTION: Radial ring magnets 1a and 1b are used in a state such that the magnets 1a and 1b alternately and dividedly magnetized (multipole- magnetized) in 8 poles, 12 poles, 24 poles, etc., and a stator coil 2 is formed by shaping a lead frame carrying a coil pattern in a cylindrical shape. The coil pattern, in addition, is arranged so that two layers may get in the width of each pole of the magnet. When an electric current is made to flow, a force works in the tangential direction of the cylindrical stator coil 2, but, since the coil 2 is fixed, the magnets 1a and 1b constituting a rotor rotate. The forces acting between the magnets 1a and 1b and coil 2 can give rotational forces to the magnets 1a and 1b in the same direction when the flowing direction of the current is synchronized and controlled. Since the need of a stator yoke is eliminated from a coreless motor in the above-mentioned way, the assemblage of the motor can be made easier and the frictional forces when the rotation of the motor is started and stopped can be reduced.
