PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To run a plurality of vehicles cooperatively by simple steering without requiring a plurality of operators. SOLUTION: This running control device runs a plurality of vehicles 10 and 20 mutually cooperatively which have their superstructures 13 and 23 rotatably mounted on carriers 12 and 22. In this case, the rotating angle of each of the superstructures 13 and 23, the running speed of each of the carriers 12 and 12, and a relation in relative position between the superstructures 13 and 23 are detected so as to control the running driving of the carriers 12 and 22 of each vehicle while the relation in relative position is maintained at a specified relation according to the operation of a steering device by an operator.
