PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a setting device for a remote monitor control system that offers excellent operability where relating data and an address of a terminal can be set without the need for a commercial power supply. SOLUTION: The remote monitor control system is provided with the setting device to set relating data and an address of a terminal. A liquid crystal display circuit 22 is adopted for a display section, an optional display area is formed on a screen and menus with different display contents are displayed selectively. Furthermore, a key matrix 24 as an operation section to instruct setting contents together with the display section is provided.
