PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of detection of mounting failure in a retainer. SOLUTION: When either the mounting of a retainer 12 or the fitting of a connector 10 is incorrect, an inspection part 30 cannot approach to a holder 21 because an arm 24 (detection member) is displaced to a detecting position and the arm 24 interferes with an approach restricting surface 38 (approach restricting means) of the inspection part 30. That is, because of the approach restriction to the holder 21 of the inspection part 30, it is determined that at least either the mounting of the retainer 12 or the fitting of the connector 10 is incorrect. The fitting failure of the connector 10 is never overlooked, so that those trouble of the operation for mounting failure detection of the retainer 12 due to the fitting failure of the connector 10 can be avoided.
