PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic printing processor having an exposure device with which irregular overprinting is not caused, when printing a character. SOLUTION: In this photographic printing processor, having the exposure device provided with a 1st light source performing exposure for overprinting a photographic image 9a on a photographic sensitive material 4 and a 2nd light source 2 for performing exposure for overprinting data 9b for the photographic image individually, and performing exposure by selectively lighting the 2nd light source 2 to a series of exposure processing that the photographic image 9a is successively exposed on the material 4, and the 2nd light source 2 is preheated when it is not lit.
