PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging device and an imaging process which have environmental affinity and further are low in cost. SOLUTION: The imaging device contains a piezoactive photoreceptor structure 10 of a belt form moving along a driving roll 22 and an idle roll 24. The belt 10 is rotated in a clockwise direction by the drive roll 22. The belt is selfbiased by being bent along the drive roll 22 and the idle roll 24. Page image information is projected on the belt 10 by using a raster output scanner(ROS), for example. Thereafter the image is developed at an electrification region 30 and is transferred on a copy sheet 28 by using positive voltage generated by bending the belt 10 along the idle roll 24.
