摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure the initial coaxiality and to prevent imparting any influence of expanding or contracting of a lens or a lens barrel due to variation in temperature or humidity on the surface of the lens. SOLUTION: In this lens holding mechanism, a rim structure 7 is formed on a periphery of the plastic lens 2. The initial concentricity of the lens and the lens barrel are regulated by making an inner peripheral part 7a of the rim structure engaged to the lens barrel 1. Furthermore, an engagement backlash to absorb the variation in size at the time when the environment is varied is provided in between an outer peripheral part 7b of the rim structure 7 and the lens barrel.
