PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wear of a thrust bearing part in a thrust bearing device by comprising a thrust plate consisting of a metal compound finished so as to have a specified Rockwell hardness or more and a specified surface roughness or less, and a rotating shaft worked to have a special tip and slid with the thrust plate through a lubricating oil. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 1 comprises a pivot part 3 spherically worked pivot part 3 which makes contact with a thrust plate 2 consisting of a metal compound finished to have a Rockwell hardness of 92HRA or more and a surface roughness of 0.1 S or less, and the rotating shaft 1 is slid with the thrust plate 2 through a lubricating oil. A hub 12 is fixed to the rotating shaft 1, and a rotor magnet 13 is fixed to the hub 12 to constitute a rotor. Further, the rotating shaft 1 is further slid with a radial bearing 11 together with the thrust plate 2 by carrying a current to a stator winding 15. According to this, the wear characteristic of the thrust plate 2 can be improved.
