PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable telephone set by which a user side can register/ eliminate a destination available of dialing depending on the circumstances and to obtain its telephone number registration device. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 can made dialing only to destination telephone numbers that are stored in its storage section. In the case of loading the portable telephone set 1 whose battery is worn out to a telephone number registration device 30, charging terminals of a registration/charging section 36 and of a registration/charging section 7 of the portable telephone set 1 are connected to each other, the power supply of the portable telephone set 1 is activated, a current is supplied to the battery to start charging. When a registration key 33 is depressed and a telephone number is entered in a state of charging, a central controller controlling the telephone number registration device 30 communicates with a system control section 18 of the portable telephone set 1 via the registration/charging section 36 to store a destination telephone number to a storage section 21. When a delete key 34 is depressed and a telephone number is selected, the central controller deletes one of the destination telephone number stored in the storage section 21.
