PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the temperature difference caused by the temperature distribution between the center part and the peripheral part and to enable a uniform thermal curing to be performed in a high efficiency by carrying out a steam curing using a box-shaped tray having a piping structure to pass steam through plural pipes connecting oppositely placed both side edges of the box. SOLUTION: A box-shaped tray 1 having plural pipes 3 connecting oppositely placed both side edges is formed by using a metallic plate, etc. A plurality of the box-shaped trays 1 are stacked one upon another and extrusion-molded cement-based inorganic boards are placed between the rays. Steam is passed through the pipes 3 to perform the steam curing of the boards by the indirect heating through the piping structure of the tray 1. As necessary, the piping structure of the tray 1 is selected to increase the steam flow rate at the center part or increase the heat-transmission at the center part or the flow of supplied steam is controlled e.g. by blowing steam to the opening of the pipe.
