PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule which is capable of freely changing the connection loss quantity of a light signal and an optical connector having this ferrule relating to the ferrule for connecting optical fibers to each other and the optical connector having this ferrule. SOLUTION: The optical connector has a holding part 23 which has insertion holes 37 and 37a for insertion of the optical fibers 35 and 35a on a central axis A, a columnar juncture 27 which is disposed with eccentricity from the central axis A of the holding part 23 on the front end side H of the holding part 23 and has an insertion hole 25a to be inserted with the optical fiber 35a coaxially with the insertion holes 37 and 37a of the holding part 23 and a cylinder 27 which has an outer peripheral part 27b having the central axis coaxial with the central axis A of the holding part 23 and an inner peripheral part 27a freely slidably inserted into the outer periphery 25b of the juncture 27a.
