PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile vibration control trestle applicable to different devices to be installed. SOLUTION: A mean restoring horizontal displacement is structured so that a vibration control unit 3 is interposed between a base trestle for fixing 1 and a frame for installing device 4, a compression coil spring with non-linear spring characteristic 9, one end of which is supported by the base trestle for fixing, is provided on the vibration control unit 3, a lower slide plate 11 supports the other end of the compression coil spring, an upper slide plate 14 abuts the trestle for installing device, and slide balls 15 interposed for rotation between the opposing recessed faces of the both slide plates. A stopper restricting vertical displacement, and an angle adjusting spring restoring the tilt brought about by the horizontal vibration and integrating both trestles and the vibration control unit are provided between the both trestles. The nonlinear spring characteristic of the compression coil spring enables to meet different devices with different weights, thereby enhancing the versatility of a vibration control trestle.
