PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydraulic equipment which is highly efficient, low-cost, and has a good response characteristic. SOLUTION: Displacement of a valve element of a manual valve 15 is detected by a displacement sensor 17. A control device 26 outputs to an inverter 25 a speed command signal corresponding to an output of the displacement sensor 17 which represents an opening of the valve element whereby a fixed pump 11 is driven by an alternating current motor 12. Accordingly, efficiency of the fixed pump 11 rises because the fixed pump 11 discharges flow rate of a hydraulic fluid corresponding to the opening of the manual valve 15. Since a rotating speed of the fixed pump 11 is controlled by the displacement sensor 17 without using a pressure sensor, cost can be reduced. Further, since a feedback control is not carried out, responsiveness of pressure and flow can be improved.
