PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause as little pain to a blood donor as possible and to reduce the amount of medical waste. SOLUTION: This blood sampling needle 3 is for piercing a living body and includes a needle body 3a made of silicon and formed in a microscopic needle shape and a hollow part provided inside the needle body 3a. The diameter of the blood sampling needle 3 thus formed is nearly equal to or smaller than that of the blood-sucking mouthparts of a mosquito. Sampling blood by use of such a blood sampling needle 3 almost eliminates pain to a blood sampled person. The blood sampling needle 3, a pump part, and an analytical part are arranged on the same substrate, whereby contact with blood from blood sampling to analysis can be limited to only one small part. Therefore, the amount of medical waste can be reduced.
