PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intuitively grasp the inner state of machinery from the viewpoint of the operator. SOLUTION: An operator 59 checks the residual and pH of chemicals 42 in a tank 41 on a spot. The residual quantity and the pH value of the chemicals are detected by a pH sensor 44 and entered into a programmable logic controller 47 through an A/D conversion unit 46. A sensor information acquiring part 52 enters the residual and pH value of the chemicals into a computer 50 through interfaces(I/Fs) 48, 51 and a communication network 35. The data of position of operator's eyes and operator's attitude are entered into a computer by a position sensor 58 and viewing point information acquiring part 56. A CG generation part 53 refers to static 3D model 61 in a plant including the tank 41 and an event visualizing table 62 which are stored in a data base 54 and generates a CG image for explaining the inner state of the tank 41 from the position of the operator's eyes and the operator's attitude. The generated CG image and an image of operator's eyes which is obtained from a video camera 57 are mutually superimposed by a superimposing part 55 and the superimposed image is displayed by a display 60 so as to be provided to the operator 59.
