PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens interchangeable type camera, capable of obtaining a finder visual field suitable to a mounted lens when interchanging lenses, and without inviting enlargement of the device as in the conventional single lens reflex camera. SOLUTION: Interchangeable lens units 12, 14 and 16 are respectively constituted by integrally forming photographic lenses 12B, 14B and 16B and optical finders 12C, 14C and 16C. The camera main body 10 is provided with a CCD 18 functioning as an image device, and claws 20 functioning as a locking mechanism for mechanically and individually holding the interchangeable lens units 12, 14 and 16 in a connected state, and an information transmission electrical contact 22 are arranged on the front side part 10A of the main body front side part. A nearly L-shaped notched part 24 is formed on the upper right part of the camera main body 10, and the finder parts 12A, 14A and 16A of the interchangeable lens units 12, 14 and 16 have structures where they are individually loaded here on the notched part 24.
