PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly connect a shutter arm and a reciprocating member for smooth operation by minimizing the angle between a rotating circular arc drawn by a pivotal connection point of the shutter arm for shutting a feed port and the reciprocating member and the line of action of the reciprocating member. SOLUTION: This feed port shutting device for an automatic grain measuring unit is provided with a shutter arm 5 closing a shutter 3 via a release of coupling and a reciprocating member 6 which is pivotally connected directly to it and driven by a solenoid 7. The shutter arm 5 and the reciprocating member 6 are arranged, so that the line of action direction of the reciprocating member 6 is located near the rotating circular arc side drawn by their pivotal connection point T above the pivotal connection point T than the tangential line direction at the pivotal connection point T, thereby the angle between the rotating circular arc and the line of action direction of the reciprocating member 6 can be made as small as possible. Even if the reciprocating member 6 and the shutter arm 5 are directly connected in this manner, smooth operation can be obtained without requiring a connecting member between them and the like.
