摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active range-finding device capable of realizing accurate active range-finding using visible light and constituted of a general light emitting element and a general light receiving element to realize the reduction of the cost. SOLUTION: In this active range-finding device, distance to an object is measured by irradiating the object with light from a light emitting element, receiving the reflected light from the object by a photodetecting sensor consisting of a CCD element and detecting the center of gravity of the reflected light based on data on the received light. In such a case, data DATA2' where the level of the received light other than the light emitted by the light emitting element and reflected by the object is made equal is obtained from 1st received light data DATA1 obtained by receiving object light in a state where the light is emitted by the light emitting element and 2nd received light data DATA2 obtained by receiving the object light in a state where the light emission by the light emitting element is stopped, and the position of the center of gravity is obtained based on arithmetically calculated data DATA0 obtained by performing the subtraction of both data DATA1 and DATA2', whereby the active range-finding is executed. Thus, the accurate range-finding is executed even when external light is bright.
