PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a transfer rate in the case of coded stream transfer. SOLUTION: Coded streams DSa-DSn generated by encoders 14a-14n are written in a memory (54C) via a bus 5 and a bus interface (54A) in the order of generation. The coded stream written in the memory (54C) is transferred to a storage device 22 via a bus interface (54B), a bus (56) and an SCSI interface 18, and in the case of writing the coded stream to the memory (54C), the code stream is also read out. that is, the write/read of the stream to/from the memory (54C) is conducted simultaneously by using the buses 50, (56). The stream is transferred from the encoder side to the stream memory side through the bus 50 and also the stream is transferred from the stream memory side to the storage device side through the other bus (56). |
