PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect internal flaws of a composite foam and to facilitate inspection work reducing the inspection cost. SOLUTION: A non-destructive inspection apparatus for inspecting the internal flaw of a composite foam consisting of a foam 52 and the skin 51 covering the surface of the foam 52 consists of a transmitter 2 for transmitting inspecting horizontal waves 41 to the interior of the composite foam 5 from the outer surface 510 of the composite foam 5 and a detector 3 detecting the propagating waves 42 formed by the propagation of the inspecting horizontal waves 41 through the composite foam 5 on the outer surface 410 of the composite foam 5.
