PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source unit which can interrupt power supply, when an electrolytic capacitor generates heat up to an abnormal temperature. SOLUTION: A radiation fin 7 is constituted in the end portion 52 of a pipe type core 5 unified in a body with a liquid-sealed type heat pipe 6 in a power source unit 100. The temperature of the radiation fin 7 is detected by a thermocouple 70. When the temperature becomes abnormally high, a temperature monitoring device 80 outputs a signal 81 informing of the abnormality. When the signal is outputted, the power source unit 100 decides that a trouble has occured, and takes measures such as interrupt of the power supply.
