<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner that prevents the offset phenomenon and can suppress toner filming on a photoreceptor while maintaining high transferability when it is provided to an image forming process. SOLUTION: The toner comprises colored particles containing at least a binder resin, a colorant and low molecular weight polypropylene particles. The toner contains the above low molecular weight polypropylene particles in a proportion of 0.3-8.0 wt.% and has a free polypropylene index determined by a centrifuging method of 0.1-0.7 and a free polypropylene index determined by a spontaneous sedimentation method of <=0.1. The low molecular weight polypropylene particles separated by centrifuging have a spheroidal shape and the proportion of particles having the ellipticity of plane-projected images of <=0.8 is >=50% by number. The proportion of particles having <=4μm volume average particle diameter in low molecular weight polypropylene particles separated by centrifuging is >=50% by number.</p> |
