PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the troubles of conventional foreign matter separation apparatus comprising the increase of adhesion of the surface of raw laver caused by the matching to a mirror surface of a rotary plate, etc., the close adhesion of the raw laver to the rotary plate and the generation of the clogging of clearance. SOLUTION: This foreign matter separation apparatus for raw laver for separating foreign matter from raw laver taking advantage of the rotation of a rotary plate 32 and a clearance is composed of a raw laver mixing tank 2 provided with a screening casing 31, a rotary plate 32 placed interposing a gap from the screening casing 31 and a foreign matter discharging port 4. A peeling part is formed at least on the inner face of the rotary plate 32, etc. The adhesion of the raw laver to the rotary plate, etc., can be prevented by the peeling part. The intrusion of sea water between the peeling part and the raw laver is promoted to assist the peeling of the raw laver. |
