PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a key sharing method and a function sharing method which can reduce the numbers of function key and give effect to their functions even when a remote controller is not found. SOLUTION: The method includes a step which judges (S-2) whether an on-screen menu is displayed on a screen or not when a predetermined function key signal is inputted (S-1), a step which recognizes (S-3) the function key signal as the first function when the on-screen menu is displayed on the screen, and a step which recognizes (S-4) the function key signal as the second function when not.
