PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a limited outputting range and to efficiently grasp the contents of an original image by dividing inputted picture data into plural blocks to identify the attribute of each divided block and extracting the block of a prescribed attribute in these divided blocks for executing image processing to an extracted block. SOLUTION: Block data of a text block extracted by text block extracting processing is obtained (S1001). Next, through the use of the contracting ratio of the text block and the a sorting level decided by deciding processing of a displayed color, the displaying color of the text block is decided (S1003). Then the text block is displayed (S1004). Thus, even when the display is small, the original image as a whole can be housed in the display and wasteful operations are reduced.
