PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functional physiologically active negatively ionized air produced by use of weathered coral and containing no harmful substances. SOLUTION: Coral calcium carbonate(CaCO3) 2 produced by baking of weathered coral powder 1 at 100 to 1000 deg.C is dissociated into calcium ion(Ca2+) 4 and carbonate ion(CO32-) 5 by a microscopic external force 3 such as pressure, wind force, or frictional force, etc. Functional physiologically active negatively ionized air consists of a hydrogen carbonate(H2CO3) 7 which is a buffer base- physiologically functionally active ion obtained by reacting the carbonate ion with moisture(H2O) 6 in air, and hydroxide ion(OH-) 8 which is physiologically active ion-negative ion.
