PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation shield plate for a conducting magnet device which breakdown does not occur even if quenching occurs in a superconducting coil. SOLUTION: A reinforcing plate 11 whose thermal conductivity is low and a heat transfer plate 12 whose thermal conductivity is high are used as a radiation shield plate, covering an upper surface or a lower surface of a superconducting coil by overlapping the plates, in such a manner that the reinforcing plate 11 faces the superconducting coil. The reinforcing plate and the thermal conducting plate are so fixed, that the heat transfer plate makes direct contact with an attaching flange 14 formed on the outer cylindrical part 13 of the radiation shield plate. |
