PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an usual fork lift to transportation of a cargo with various widths by constituting the tool with a connecting member attachable/detachable to a fork and a cargo shifting preventing member fixed to the connecting member. SOLUTION: An operation auxiliary tool 1 is constituted with connecting members 11a, 11b attachable/detachable to forks 15a, 15b and a cargo shifting preventing member 21 fixed to the connecting members 11a, 11b. The connecting members 11a, 11b are interconnected through a linking member 11c so as to have a constant width, and shapes of the connecting members 11a, 11b are set in cylindrical shapes into which the forks 15a, 15b are inserted. The cargo shifting preventing member 21 is constituted with cargo support members 21a, 21b vertically arranged on the upper surface of each of connecting members 11a, 11b, and first and second reinforcing members 21c, 21d arranged between the cargo support members 21a, 21b in order to compensate strength of the cargo support members 21a, 21b.
