PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device making correct color reproduction feasible by optimally controlling replenishment of toner. SOLUTION: This image forming device is, allowed to form the color image by successively transferring the toner image respectively formed by plural image forming units 23Y, 23M, 23C and 23K on a paper sheet fed from a resist roller in order. The toner density sensor of the developing device on the respective image forming unit is, allowed to monitor the toner density after the elapse of the specified timing tA, tB and tC from the time point when the paper sheet is transported by the resist roller. In such a manner, the device is allowed to obtain a color image stabilized in image density of each color independently formed by respective image forming unit, and free from the change of the color balance. |
