摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal flowmeter, sufficient with a metal thin pipe for the purpose, capable of reducing size thereby with a simple structure, capable of easily arranging a large number of temperature sensors to realize a flowmeter of multipoint measuring type, and hardly affected by a flow velocity distribution and a fluid temperature distribution in a flow passage pipe body for reducing measurement errors. SOLUTION: In this thermal flowmeter, a metal thin pipe 2, in which a current for heating flows in an axial direction, is arranged in the direction perpendicular to the flowing direction of fluid inside a flow passage pipe body 1 for the measured fluid, at least two or more of cooling wheels 4a, 4b, 4c comprising conductive metal having a heat-transfer area larger than the pipe 2 are arranged midway of the thin pipe 2 with a proper space, both ends of a metal current by-passing wire 7 having an electrical resistance value sufficiently smaller than that of the pipe 2 are connected respectively to the cooling wheels for providing a unheated part B where the current for the heating is hardly flows in the pipe 2, and temperature sensors 8a, 8b are arranged respectively inside the pipe 2 in the unheated part B and a heating part A, where the current for the heating flows.</p>
