摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the oxidation and decomposition of dioxins by supplying water containing ozone as ozone-containing water in the from of particles to an exhaust gas path from an exhaust gas generating source to a discharge aperture. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas generated in an incinerator 9 is guided into a temperature reduction cylinder 11 passing through an exhaust gas path 10. Further, an ozone- containing water, containing ozone in cooling water, which is manufactured by an ozone-containing water manufacturing device 16 is atomized to the exhaust gas from a nozzle 12 to reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas. In this case, the ozone contained in the water droplets of the ozone-containing water is oxidized following the vaporization of the water droplets, coming into contact with the exhaust gas while the ozone generates a large amount of OH radicals having a strong decomposition power. Consequently, the decomposition of precursors of dioxins, the cutting and oxidation of double bonds take place in the gas phase reaction, so that the dioxins are decomposed into a harmless benzene ring, carbon dioxide, water and the like. After that, the exhaust gas is sent into an electric dust collector 13 to collect soot and dust. The exhaust gas treated as described is released as a harmless exhaust gas from a smokestack 15 into the atmosphere.</p>
