<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely correct defects of transmission type, reflection type and transmission/reflection type display devices. SOLUTION: A defect-correcting device is provided with a light beam irradiating device 14, which is intended to correct defective regions of a liquid crystal display device 1, a lighting probe device 13, which supports the liquid crystal display device 1 and can transfer the liquid crystal display device 1 in the direction of changing the position irradiated with the light beam, a drive device 36, which imparts a display signal to the liquid crystal display device 1, thereby driving each pixel into a display condition, a low magnification and high magnification cameras 21, 22, which are intended to observe the display condition of the pixel of the liquid crystal display device 1, a transmitted lighting device 28 and a reflected lighting device 23 which permit transmission type display and reflection type display of the liquid display device 1, and a mark second imparting device 25, which is intended to specify a light beam irradiating position on the liquid crystal display device 1 by means of the light beam irradiating device 14.</p> |
