PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily position tip end parts of roofing materials, and prevent the falling of rainwater from an edge of eaves of a gable by improving conventional gables. SOLUTION: A gable 1 is fixed on an end part of a gable end side of a gable roof, and an end part of edge of eaves of the gables is installed so as to protrude to an edge side of eaves from an end part of edge of eaves of a roofing material 20. A standing surface part 5 (a step part) for bumping the end part of the edge of eaves of the roofing material 20 is formed on an upper surface part 4 of the gable, and a rainwater-inducing piece 9 is arranged on the vicinity of an end part of the edge of eaves of the upper surface part 4 of the gable in a standing state. Hereby, a tip end part of the roofing material can be positioned only by bumping a tip end part of the roofing material 20 to the standing surface part 5. Moreover, rainwater which flows coming through an upper surface of the gable and an upper surface of a verge draining can be guided in a predetermined direction with the rainwater-inducing piece 9, so that falling of the rainwater from the edge of eaves of the gable can be prevented.
